A national feature on inclusive coffee
“A coffee shop where every cup is a quiet act of inclusion — and the bar is run by the people the rest of the world keeps forgetting.”

We filter our coffee,
not our people.

The Mission
The future is inclusive. So is our team.
Coffee Uniting People was founded in 2021 by Greg and Laura Jones to close an employment gap that nobody else was filling — adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities aging out of youth services with nowhere to work.
Today, more than 40 CUP team members pull shots, plate pastries, train new hires, and own the floor at five locations across Tampa Bay. The model isn’t charity. It’s coffee made well by a team that includes everyone.
